The First Descendant Update 1.033 is now live for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This version introduces the Lounge Storage Trade system, allowing players to exchange items asynchronously for the first time. The update also debuts Ultimate Hailey and provides a massive damage multiplier increase for Lepic’s grenade abilities.
Asynchronous Trading: Lounge Storage Trade
The headline feature of version 1.033 is the Lounge Storage Trade system. Unlike traditional trading systems that require both players to be online and present simultaneously, this asynchronous system allows players to list and exchange items through a dedicated storage interface.
- Mastery Requirement: Players must reach Mastery Rank 15 to access the trading system.
- Supported Items: At launch, the system supports Trigger Modules and Transcendent Weapons.
- Functionality: Players can facilitate trades without requiring a direct, real-time connection with the other party.
Ultimate Hailey and Transcendent Modules
Ultimate Hailey has been added to the roster. This version of the character arrives with two new modules designed to shift her gameplay style:
- Dangerous Distance: A module for Hailey.
- Extreme Strike: A module for Hailey.
Additionally, a new Trigger Module called Freezing Breakthrough has been added to the loot pool, which specifically increases Skill Critical Hit Damage.
Lepic Buffs and Skill Balancing
The 1.033 update significantly increases the power ceiling for Lepic. The base multiplier for his Grenade Throw skill explosion damage has been increased from 2884.1% to 7557.0%. This change drastically improves his viability in high-level endgame content where burst damage is required.
New Dungeon: Cradle of Evolution
Endgame players can now access the Cradle of Evolution dungeon. This piece of content is gated behind a Mastery Rank 18 requirement. The dungeon concludes with a boss encounter against the Separated Tarvos Commander.
