The decision to end the series appears to be tied to a significant shift in audience engagement. When Daredevil: Born Again premiered its first season in 2025, it was the most successful Disney+ series debut of the year, reaching 7.5 million global viewers within its first five days. However, viewership data indicates that Season 2 saw a domestic decline of approximately 50% compared to the debut season.
