Blizzard Entertainment released Overwatch 2 update 1.000.102 (Version 4.37) on September 22, 2026. This patch focuses on resolving technical issues within the Team Drives competitive event and correcting a visual error affecting Ashe’s equipment.
Team Drives and Drive Signature Fixes
The primary focus of this update is the Team Drives event, a competitive structure where players earn Drive Score to unlock seasonal rewards. The patch addresses two specific issues that affected player progression and rewards:
- Title Formatting: A bug that caused Team Drives titles to display placeholder text instead of the correct strings has been fixed.
- Prestige Tracking: The update resolves an issue where Drive Signature prestige levels would fluctuate or change incorrectly following participation in Team Drives.
Drive Signatures serve as cosmetic nameplate decorations that utilize a Roman numeral prestige system. This system is designed to track a player’s long-term participation and “Gladiator Ranks” across multiple seasonal Drive events.
Hero Cosmetic Adjustments
The update includes a specific visual correction for Ashe. Players using the Metalcore skin previously reported issues with the weapon’s scope; this patch restores the scope to its intended visual state.
Mandatory Replay Reset
As is standard with Overwatch 2 patches that modify internal game data, the deployment of version 4.37 has wiped all existing replay codes. Players will no longer be able to access match recordings created prior to September 22, 2026.
The update is currently live across all supported platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Complete technical details can be found on the official Overwatch Patch Notes page.
