DICE has released update 1.000.032 for Battlefield 6 on September 24, 2026, primarily to stabilize matchmaking for REDSEC and address balancing issues in the Gauntlet mode. This update is live for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. On PlayStation 5, this version serves as a post-1.4.3.1 hotfix, following the broader changes introduced in update 1.4.3.0.

REDSEC and Matchmaking Stability

The primary focus of this update is the stabilization of REDSEC. Following the release of version 1.4.3.1, REDSEC matchmaking has stabilized.

Communication features remain limited, as Proximity Chat is still disabled while technical issues are under investigation. Additionally, investigations have confirmed that reported missing weapon attachments are restricted to the Firing Range and do not affect live multiplayer or REDSEC matches.

Gauntlet Mode and Weapon Balancing

A gameplay issue has been identified in the Gauntlet mode involving the Interdictor sniper rifle. Currently, the weapon is dealing excessive damage. DICE has confirmed that the Interdictor will be adjusted to the damage ranges intended for update 1.4.3.0.

Other gameplay and system changes include:

  • Vehicle Spawn Protection: Warnings appearing in previously safe zones are an intentional anti-camping design choice.
  • HUD Notifications: A server-side change was deployed to resolve delays in HUD notifications.

Ongoing Investigations

While update 1.000.032 addresses several stability concerns, DICE is currently tracking the following issues for future resolution:

  • Directional Hit Indicators: DICE is investigating missing directional hit indicators for players wearing armor in REDSEC.
  • Damage Displays: A visual bug in the REDSEC HUD is causing damage numbers over 100 to display incorrectly.
