Visual Concepts has released update 1.19 for WWE 2K26 on October 7, 2026. The patch is now live for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, introducing new entrance animations for Team Xtreme and providing a dedicated gameplay voice for Danhausen.
Team Xtreme ’00 and Entrance Updates
The primary addition in this update focuses on the 2000s era of Team Xtreme. Players can now access new tag team and trio entrance animations for Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Lita. These animations are designed to reflect the group’s specific presentation during that period of their careers.
In addition to these entrances, the update introduces unique gameplay audio for Danhausen. This includes his specific voice lines and “effort” sounds used during matches, replacing generic audio assets previously used for the character.
Mattel Goldberg and New Content
Update 1.19 adds the Mattel Goldberg Persona card to the game. This specific version of Goldberg is tied to a retail locker code promotion, functioning as a cross-promotional item that allows players to use the Mattel-inspired character model across various game modes once the code is redeemed.
Presentation adjustments also include spelling corrections for several music tracks in the game’s jukebox and entrance menus. The tracks receiving corrections include:
- Beautiful Life
- Seth Rollins ’12
- Amazing Remix
MyPLAYER and Gameplay Fixes
The patch addresses a specific technical issue within the “The Island” MyPLAYER career mode path. Previously, player characters could sporadically disappear during post-match cutscenes, stalling the narrative progression. This bug has been resolved, ensuring the character model remains visible during these scripted events.
While the update focuses heavily on presentation, these changes stabilize the career mode experience for those playing through the specific Island storyline. Detailed notes regarding these changes can be found at The SmackDown Hotel.
