Marvel Studios has officially set a return date for Peter Parker’s animated adventures. The second season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will premiere on Disney+ on January 13, 2027.
The upcoming season marks a significant shift in the narrative, moving into a retelling of the iconic Symbiote saga. Season 2 will feature Peter Parker wearing the black Symbiote suit and a retelling of the Venom saga.
Set in an alternate timeline from the main Marvel Cinematic Universe, the series explores a reality where Norman Osborn, voiced by Colman Domingo, serves as Peter Parker’s mentor. Hudson Thames reprises his role as the voice of Peter Parker. The ensemble cast also includes Charlie Cox, reprising his role as the voice of Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil.
The move to a January 2027 premiere represents a slight adjustment to the production schedule, as the season was previously anticipated for a late 2026 window. This follows the first season, which premiered on Disney+ on January 29, 2025.
