Capcom released Dragon’s Dogma 2 update 4.100.000 on October 16, 2026, for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. This patch focuses on resolving mechanical failures for vocations and refining Pawn navigation.
Vocation and Combat Adjustments
The update addresses specific animation and targeting bugs that hindered the Warrior and Magick Archer vocations. These changes ensure that skill execution matches player input.
- Warrior: Fixed a bug where pressing the cancel button during Goring Lunge triggered a follow-up attack instead of canceling.
- Magick Archer: Corrected the lock-on feature to ensure proper functionality.
- Mystic Spearhand: Resolved an issue where the Mirour Vesture effect failed to activate between the Arisen and Sigurd.
Pawn AI and Navigation Improvements
Pawn behavior has been adjusted to increase survivability. The update targets how Pawns interact with the environment and their readiness state after an encounter.
- Cliff Navigation: AI logic was adjusted to reduce the frequency of Pawns falling from cliffs.
- Post-Combat Behavior: Pawns will now ensure they sheath weapons after combat.
- Equipment Errors: Resolved an issue where Support Pawns equipped with the Red Noble Shirt or Fair Noble Breeches displayed an ‘InvalidMsg’ error.
Quest and World Fixes
Several progression and world-state bugs have been corrected. This includes a fix for the ‘Back to the Temple’ quest, which now correctly registers as complete even when specific conditions were previously causing a false failure state.
Travel mechanics have also been restricted. Players can no longer ride oxcarts outside of operating hours, which previously caused abnormal movement behavior. For more details on specific bug resolutions, players can visit the official Dragon’s Dogma 2 update page.
