PAYDAY 3 Update 1.000.080 Patch Notes: Dual-Wielding and Feeding Frenzy Heist

Starbreeze Studios has released PAYDAY 3 Update 1.000.080 (Update 3.10), introducing dual-wielding weapon mechanics through the Guns Blazin’ Crimebond. The update, launched on October 26, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, also debuts a new “Feeding Frenzy” heist variation and streamlines the Nebula account registration process.

Guns Blazin’ Crimebond and Dual-Wielding

The primary addition in Update 3.10 is the Guns Blazin’ Crimebond, which adds dual revolvers and dual shotguns to the player’s arsenal. For players who do not own the DLC, a mechanic allows these items to be “stolen” using Renown. If a player later purchases the DLC, they will receive a reimbursement for any Renown spent on those specific items.

Accompanying the new weapons is Feeding Frenzy, a loud-only variation of the Gold & Sharke heist. This version is set exclusively at night, forcing players into high-intensity combat from the start without the option for stealth.

Nebula Account Streamlining

To reduce friction for new players, the update introduces “headless” Nebula accounts. The game now creates these accounts automatically upon first launch, removing the requirement for an initial email registration. Players can continue to play without formal registration, though manual account linking remains available for cross-progression features.

Weapon Balance and ARGES OVK Adjustments

The ARGES OVK weapon has received significant mechanical shifts. It now features the “Killer Motor” perk, and its armor damage resistance decay rate has been increased to 5% per second. This change accelerates how quickly enemy armor becomes vulnerable after being hit by the weapon.

Additional balance adjustments were applied to five other weapons to improve their damage breakpoints against various enemy types:

  • RG5
  • MX63
  • Spearfish
  • R880
  • TAS 12

Heist Fixes and Exploit Mitigation

Update 3.10 addresses specific exploits related to the OVE9050 saw. In the Road Rage heist, a bug that allowed players to use the saw to trigger an early escape via the bridge tarps has been fixed. Similar exploit fixes for the saw were applied to the Fear & Greed heist to ensure objective progression follows the intended design.

Full technical details and additional minor bug fixes can be found on the Official PAYDAY 3 Website.
