Developer Jyamma Games has released the Valor Mortis update (version 1.006.000) for Enotria: The Last Song. This first major content update focuses on expanding combat variety for specific weapon classes and resolving several progression-blocking bugs across PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

New Finishers and Weapon Skins

The update introduces new unique critical attacks, or finishers, for the Rapier and Saber weapon classes. These animations provide new visual feedback when players exploit enemy staggers with these specific archetypes. Alongside the combat animations, Jyamma Games has added new themed weapon skins that apply to both melee and ranged weapon categories.

PC Performance and Shader Cache Requirement

For players on PC, the 1.006 update requires a manual refresh of the game’s technical overhead. To ensure stable performance and prevent stuttering, players are required to recreate their shader cache after the patch is installed. This process is necessary to accommodate the engine-level changes included in the Valor Mortis update.

Bug Fixes and Achievement Updates

Update 1.006 addresses a long-standing issue with the achievement and trophy system. Players with missing trophies will find they unlock automatically upon selecting “Continue” from the main menu. This retroactive fix ensures that previous progression is properly recognized by the platform services.

Other significant fixes and adjustments include:

  • The Quarry Progression: Fixed a bug in Chapter 2 that prevented players from climbing the tower, which previously blocked main story progression.
  • Boss Encounters: Resolved an issue where the “The Orphan” boss could be affected by an infinite Stasis effect.
  • Visual Accuracy: Fixed a rendering bug where “The Entity’s” shield appeared in an incorrect position during combat.
  • Camera Control: Corrected a camera reset bug that triggered unintentionally after using the Pull ability.

According to the official Enotria: The Last Song patch notes, these changes are live as of October 28, 2026. The update aims to stabilize the experience for players in the mid-to-late game stages where technical and progression issues were most frequently reported.
