Progression and Content Fixes
The update resolves a significant issue for players with older save files. Those using saves originating from version 0.4 previously found the hatch to the Skunk Pond Ranger Outpost inaccessible; this has been corrected, allowing players to enter the outpost as intended.
Additionally, the “Forgotten report” item now appears correctly. A previous bug caused this item to be replaced by a washball, preventing players from collecting the proper lore entry. Regarding the O.G.G.R. spawning issue, the official workaround requires players to sleep, save the game, and then reload the save to trigger the spawns.
Gameplay and Mechanics Adjustments
Several changes affect resource management and combat exploits:
- Reload Exploit: An exploit that allowed players to skip projectile weapon reload animations by spamming the interact button has been fixed.
- Resource Persistence: Dew Drops and Sap will no longer disappear from Dew Collectors and Sap Catchers when a player saves and reloads their game.

For players on Xbox Series X, the patch addresses a specific hang that occurred when the game was suspended. The update also resolves a crash caused by placing an Everchar Diffuser on a Bubble Diffuser.
