IO Interactive has deployed update 1.022 (v1.3.2) for 007 First Light on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Released on October 29, 2026, this patch focuses on a reorganization of Bond’s wardrobe and addresses progression issues within the TacSim training missions.

Wardrobe Reorganization and New Outfits

The update introduces a significant change to how players access specific gear. The outfit previously known as “The Grey Standard” has been renamed to Heritage Tailoring. This change allows for the introduction of a new version of “The Grey Standard” outfit, which can now be unlocked for 6,000 Intel once a player reaches Clearance Level 15. Notably, this unlock no longer requires an IOI Account.

Additionally, a new outfit titled Midnight Recon has been added to the game’s files. While the suit is visible in the menus, IO Interactive has stated that the specific unlock requirements for this gear will be revealed at a later date.

Achievement and Mission Fixes

A primary focus of this update is the correction of the “Positively Shocking” achievement. Previously, players reported issues with the achievement failing to trigger; it now correctly unlocks when the player successfully causes one enemy to taser another.

Technical stability and visual fidelity have also been addressed in specific campaign chapters:

  • Chapter 04 (The Past Never Dies): Resolved a rare crash that occurred during the escape drive cinematic when Path Tracing was enabled.
  • Visual Physics: Fixed clothing distortion issues affecting Bond’s outfits during Mission 01 (The Needle’s Eye) and Mission 04 (The Past Never Dies).

TacSim: Valhalla Protocol Adjustments

Players participating in the TacSim: Valhalla Protocol will find that rewards are now being distributed correctly. A bug that prevented the awarding of Intel or XP upon the completion of specific challenges has been resolved. This ensures that players can maintain their progression toward the new Clearance Level 15 requirements for the updated “The Grey Standard” outfit.
