Call of Duty Update 1.111 is now live, marking the official launch of Season 1 integration for Modern Warfare 4 and Warzone. The update introduces the X01 Black Site to DMZ and transitions the franchise to current-generation hardware, officially ending support for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
The Season 1 content rollout begins globally on November 6 at 12:00 AM ET. The update is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Modern Warfare 4 and Warzone Season 1 Integration
The 1.111 update focuses on a massive content injection for both standard multiplayer and battle royale modes. Warzone players gain access to two new environments: Hajin for standard Battle Royale and Zodiac for Resurgence. For DMZ players, the update adds the X01 Black Site, a weapons facility located in North Korea that features underground laboratories and a high-security area known as the Deep Vault.
The Season 1 Battle Pass introduces two primary weapons for players to unlock:
- Cronen Osprey (Assault Rifle): Available at Tier 16.
- CSG-35 (SMG): Available at Tier 36.
New progression rewards include three Warzone Mastery Camos: Parallax, Damascus Reforged, and Empyros. Additionally, the Grabber Drone has been added as a new Field Upgrade, allowing players to remotely retrieve loot or revive downed teammates from a distance.
Platform Support and Technical Changes
Update 1.111 represents a significant shift in technical support for the franchise. According to the Official Call of Duty Blog, support for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has ended with this update. Players on those legacy platforms will need to migrate to current-gen hardware to access Season 1 content.
The update also addresses specific progression bugs that hindered weapon customization. Most notably, it resolves an issue where Military Camos and Apex Attachments remained locked after a player used the weapon Prestige system.
