$320 million in Ether cryptocurrency stolen from Wormhole
The equivalent of $320 million in ether was stolen by Wormhole, a site for transferring information from one cryptocurrency network to another, in what is the fourth-largest cryptocurrency site hack.
The company has confirmed that the security vulnerability in its system has been fixed, but they are in a work in progress to restart the network.
Fraud and theft in the platforms of trading of cryptocurrencies DeFi surpassed $10 billion last year, which reveals the risks in this type of platform.
Interestingly, the biggest hack was for the Poly Network website last August, when $610 million worth of cryptocurrency was stolen, but most of it was returned.
