Today, the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation has concluded a cooperation agreement with the section of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development with the aim of providing support to the Ministry’s children and people with disabilities and promoting their integration into society.
The Federation was represented by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Federation Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Motor Sports Company and by the branch of the Ministry, the general manager of the branch Fahd bin Raqosh.
The agreement activates a series of programs for people with disabilities to enhance talent.
For his part, Prince Khaled bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal appreciated this cooperation to achieve full integration, empowerment and rehabilitation of people with disabilities, as a partner in the development process and an active element in society, underlining that this cooperation reflects the culture of social cohesion that characterizes the Kingdom and embodies the vision of rational leadership in empowerment by supporting people with disabilities and strengthening their confidence in their ability to reach their full potential.
He said: “We always try to involve people with disabilities in our activities to have fun, learn and exploit their skills and bring about positive change in their lives by providing tools to help them build their future and integrate fully into society, and we also try to increase their passion for motorsport in its various fields.Whether it is racing, learning mechanics or organizing, I invite them to try karting to begin with, and I can’t wait to see them as F1 drivers in the next 10 years “.
