Stevie Nicks Extends Tour with New Dates in 2025

The anticipation is palpable as Fleetwood Mac’s iconic songstress Stevie Nicks announces an extended 2025 tour, thrilling fans with the news. Initially set for just nine shows, Nicks has added eight more to the tour lineup, surprising her audience in the process.

The 77-year-old rock legend is set to kick off her summer tour in early August and will now conclude in October, making this an unforgettable season packed with music. The newly announced opening night will take place at New York’s Barclays Center, creating a buzz among avid concertgoers, while the tour will wrap up in Hartford, Connecticut.

Originally slated to co-headline the tour with Billy Joel, Nicks finds herself moving forward solo after the Piano Man had to withdraw due to a rare brain disorder diagnosis. Although this news has left some fans disappointed, most of the planned shows remain intact; however, several have shifted venues from stadiums to more intimate arenas.

New cities have been added to the tour, including stops in Hollywood, Florida, Detroit, Portland, Oregon, Sacramento, Atlantic City, and Charlotte. Fans can look forward to more opportunities to experience Nicks’ magic live.

Presales for the new dates will commence on Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time, with general admission tickets available starting Friday at 10 a.m. It’s a chance that fans won’t want to miss!

Stevie Nicks’ career began in 1966 with the band Fritz, where she collaborated with then-boyfriend and bandmate Lindsey Buckingham, opening for legends like Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix before the band disbanded in 1972. After a brief stint as a duo, Nicks and Buckingham joined Fleetwood Mac in 1974, invited by drummer Mick Fleetwood. Nicks quickly emerged as a standout, crafting timeless tracks like “Landslide” and “Rhiannon.”

Her contributions ensured the band’s success with an array of hits from the 1977 album Rumours, including classics like “Dreams” and “The Chain.” Following the group’s stellar run, internal tensions prompted Nicks to launch her solo career in 1981, officially parting ways with Fleetwood Mac in 1990. Hits like “Edge of Seventeen” and “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” helped her cement her legacy as a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer.

With this summer’s tour, fans are eager for another opportunity to sing along with the legendary voice that has defined rock music for generations. It’s going to be an exhilarating season, but get ready—those tickets are sure to vanish fast!
