This patch, arriving on September 11, 2026, for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, primarily targets narrative blockers in MyCAREER and critical scoring issues in competitive Crew matches.
MyCAREER Progression and Narrative Fixes
The update resolves several high-profile issues that prevented players from advancing through the primary “Fire & Concrete” narrative arc. Developers have specifically addressed a blocker occurring during the NBA Cup game in MyCAREER Chapter 7. Additionally, a specific hang during the Hall of Fame speech sequence has been fixed.
Players transitioning between different game eras will find a resolution for a known conflict between “Eras” and “Modern” save files. Previously, users switching from an Eras save to a Modern-era save could encounter a blocker during the Rising Stars game; this interaction has been corrected to ensure progression remains fluid regardless of the save history.
Co-op players are also receiving a critical fix regarding data integrity. The patch addresses an issue where quest progression from one player’s Co-Op session could unintentionally overwrite or affect another player’s individual save file.
Crew HQ and Competitive Play
For competitive players, the most significant change involves how match results are recorded in the Crew HQ. Before this update, Crew teams could receive an incorrect loss if an opponent quit the game during a Crew HQ Division match. This fix ensures that rankings and records accurately reflect match outcomes.
General Stability and Mode Fixes
Beyond MyCAREER and Crew HQ, Patch 1.5 includes stability improvements for Breakout and general UI interactions:
- Breakout Mode: Fixed a hang that occurred specifically after a user deleted a lineup.
- System Stability: General fixes to reduce “rare hangs” across various menu transitions and gameplay sequences.
As this is the first substantial update since the game’s release, it focuses on these “blocker” issues that hindered access to content rather than making broad balance adjustments to player badges or shooting mechanics.
