Timothy Olyphant’s Clark Ross Becomes Series Regular in Stick Season 2

Timothy Olyphant’s character, Clark Ross, takes on a significantly expanded role in the second season of the Apple TV+ series Stick, shifting from a recurring antagonist to a central driver of the upcoming 10-episode arc. The sports comedy, created by Jason Keller, is scheduled to return with a two-episode premiere on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

The new season reportedly elevates Ross to a series regular, transforming his relationship with protagonist Pryce Cahill, played by Owen Wilson. While Season 1 established Ross as a “villain” figure—notably for his attempts to recruit Pryce’s protégé, Santi—the upcoming episodes pivot his role into that of a complex motivator. Ross is the primary catalyst who encourages Pryce to attempt a professional comeback, aiming to become the oldest major champion in the sport’s history.

The new season sees Clark Ross push Pryce Cahill back into the professional circuit.

The rivalry between the two characters is rooted in a shared history as playing partners during a tournament at Sawgrass in 2009. Cast members have indicated that this dynamic will move beyond a simple bitter rivalry, exploring a more nuanced tension as Pryce navigates the high stakes of his return to the professional circuit.

Joining the cast this season is Rhea Seehorn, who portrays Amanda, a professional “swing doctor” and coach hired to facilitate Pryce’s comeback. Her character is expected to interact closely with the established friction between Pryce and Ross as the training sessions intensify.

The 10-part season will follow a weekly release schedule on Apple TV+ after its initial November debut. Following the two-episode launch, new installments will arrive every Wednesday, leading up to the season finale on December 30, 2026.
