Jackery has expanded its lineup of portable power solutions with the Explorer 100D, a compact unit designed specifically to meet airline travel regulations while providing high-speed charging for high-performance electronics. Announced on October 28, 2026, the device marks a shift toward maximum portability by staying just under the 100Wh threshold required for carry-on lithium batteries.

The Explorer 100D features a 96Wh (30,000mAh) battery capacity, ensuring it remains compliant with TSA and FAA limits for air travel. Despite its small footprint, it supports the USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.1 standard, delivering up to 140W of output through its dual USB-C ports. This power profile allows it to charge demanding devices, such as the MacBook Pro or the latest high-end smartphones, at their peak supported speeds.

Unlike many standard consumer power banks that rely on traditional lithium-ion chemistry, the Explorer 100D utilizes Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4 or LFP) cells. This chemistry is rated for 3,000 charge cycles before reaching 80% capacity—roughly eight years of regular use—compared to the 300 to 500 cycles typical of standard portable chargers.

The device weighs 1.87 pounds (approximately 850 grams).

The Explorer 100D is available in several retail configurations:

  • Walmart Bundle: A two-unit bundle launched at Walmart on November 1, 2026, priced at $179.99.
  • Standalone Units: Single units are scheduled to arrive on Walmart shelves on November 15, 2026, for $99.
  • Costco: The device is already available for purchase through Costco locations.

The Explorer 100D features two USB-C ports with 140W max output each.

The Explorer 100D serves as a high-speed charger for laptops and mobile devices, positioned as a travel-specific hub for digital creators and professionals who require sustained, high-wattage power during flights and transit.
