Pearl Abyss released the 1.000.691 update for Crimson Desert on November 5, 2026. This patch, identified internally as version 2.04.07, focuses on restoring a missing equipment set while documenting several high-priority issues currently affecting players on PlayStation 5, PC, and Mac.
Nibrak Cloth Armor Restoration
The primary fix in this update addresses a bug involving the Nibrak Cloth Armor. Before this patch, players reported that the armor set would frequently disappear from character models or vanish entirely from the player’s inventory. Following update 1.000.691, the armor should remain consistently visible and accessible within the inventory system.
Known Issues and Stability
While the update stabilizes the Nibrak armor, Pearl Abyss has identified several technical hurdles that remain under investigation across different platforms.
PlayStation 5 and Console Issues
- Virtual Keyboard Freeze: On PS5, entering text rapidly using the virtual keyboard—specifically when naming horses or pets—can cause the entire screen to freeze, requiring a game restart.
- Quest Progression: Players currently cannot progress through Greymane faction quests if they are playing as the characters Damiane or Oongka. This block is specific to these two characters and does not appear to affect other protagonists.
PC and Mac Technical Glitches
- FSR4 Graphical Errors: PC users utilizing FSR4 (FidelityFX Super Resolution 4) upscaling may notice that rain effects completely disappear during storms. Additionally, the screen may appear blurred in rainy environments when this setting is active.
- Mac Cursor Offset: Mac players using a keyboard and mouse at specific resolutions may experience a cursor offset issue. This causes furniture to be placed away from where the cursor is actually pointing during house customization.
For players on PC, temporarily disabling FSR4 or switching to an alternative upscaling method is the recommended workaround for the rain distortion until a dedicated graphical hotfix is deployed.
