Shift Up released Stellar Blade update 1.015 for PlayStation 5 and version 1.5.0 for PC on November 5, 2026. The patch introduces a collaboration with the Bayonetta series.

Bayonetta Collaboration Content

The primary addition in this update is a set of cosmetic items inspired by the Bayonetta series. Players can now equip Eve with four distinct “Couture Bullet” Nanosuits. While three designs reference the source series, the “Black Tresses” variant is an original crossover design created by Shift Up CEO Kim Hyung-tae.

The update includes the following Nanosuits and accessories:

  • Couture Bullet (Bayonetta): A suit modeled after the protagonist’s look.
  • Couture Bullet (Jeanne): A suit inspired by Jeanne.
  • Couture Bullet (Nun): A reference to the disguise worn in the series.
  • Couture Bullet (Black Tresses): An original design by Kim Hyung-tae.
  • Accessories: Two pairs of glasses (Bayonetta’s Glasses, Nun’s Glasses) and two pairs of earrings (Bayonetta’s Earrings, Jeanne’s Earrings).

According to Siliconera, these items allow for a visual transformation of Eve to match the aesthetic of the crossover series.

Quest and Vendor Fixes

Beyond the cosmetics, version 1.015 addresses specific progression blocks and NPC interaction issues. A fix has been applied to the side quest “A United People Cannot be Defeated.” Previously, a bug halted progression after collecting two Memory Sticks; this has been resolved to allow the quest to finish correctly.

The update also corrects a collision issue involving Emil, the vendor from the NieR: Automata DLC. Emil serves as a vendor in the southern Wasteland, but players reported him occasionally becoming stuck on a cliffside, making trade impossible. This patch ensures his position remains stable.

PC and UI Improvements

For PC players, the 1.5.0 update improves the user interface when Steam Input is active. On the Steam Deck, controller icons and button images now update to match the specific controller connected to the device, ensuring the on-screen prompts are accurate to the hardware in use.
