EA Sports UFC 6 received its 1.007 update on November 6, 2026, introducing three new contenders to the main roster alongside the arrival of Chris Leben as a Fighter Pass unlockable. The update also implements balance adjustments to high-volume strike combinations and stamina management.

New Fighters and Roster Updates

The update expands the playable roster with three rising athletes across different weight classes and a legendary middleweight. Chris Leben’s UFC 132 version enters the game as a Fighter Pass unlockable, featuring maximum 100 Chin and 100 Recovery attributes.

  • Navajo Stirling: Added to the Light Heavyweight division.
  • Fatima Kline: Added to the Women’s Strawweight division.
  • Wang Cong: Added to the Women’s Flyweight division.

In addition to the new fighters, several existing athletes received move set upgrades. Diego Lopes, Lerone Murphy, and Carlos Prates have been granted 5-star Spinning Elbow moves. EA Sports also corrected Colby Covington’s fighting stance, switching him from Orthodox to Southpaw to reflect his real-world style.

Gameplay Balance and Strike Tuning

The 1.007 patch targets the “pressure meta” by increasing the stamina cost of “Efficient Strikes.” Previously set at 75% of the standard cost, these strikes now require 82.5% of the standard stamina cost. This change specifically impacts fighters who rely on high-volume output.

Specific frame data changes have been applied to popular strike combinations to adjust their effectiveness in competitive play:

  • Lead Head Hook to Lead Body Hook: The speed of this combination has been increased by 4 frames.
  • Lead Body Roundhouse to Head Cross: The speed of this combination has been reduced by 4 frames to prevent spamming.

Career Mode and Technical Fixes

A specific softlock in Career Mode has been resolved. Previously, players who held both the Double Champion status and the BMF title simultaneously would encounter a game-breaking lock if they declined a fight offer. This update ensures Career Mode progression continues normally regardless of title status.

Other technical improvements include a fix for the audio system. Commentary lines regarding the “Philly Shell” defense will no longer trigger if the fighter is not actively using that specific style. For more details on these changes, players can view the official EA Sports UFC 6 patch notes.
