Coon wasn’t alone in garnering recognition. Her co-stars Parker Posey, Aimee Lou Wood, and Natasha Rothwell also received nominations in the same category. The competition is fierce, as they face notable contenders like Patricia Arquette for Severance, Katherine LaNasa for The Pitt, and Julianne Nicholson for Paradise.
On the men’s side, Coon’s talented co-stars Jason Isaacs, Sam Rockwell, and Walton Goggins have earned their own nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. This season of The White Lotus has scored an impressive 24 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.
In a heartfelt moment, the actress took to X to share a joyful throwback selfie on a speedboat with her co-stars Leslie Bibb and Michelle Monaghan, who played pivotal roles in the show’s toxic central friend group.
After the big nomination announcement, Coon told Deadline that she was busy filming an independent movie in Vancouver, declaring that “it’s the best way to celebrate.”
“I’m here with my whole family, so it’s very chaotic. The days are long, and it’s the kind of good, hard, fulfilling work I’ve been lucky to do,” she explained. At 44 years old, she feels grateful to be working consistently.
Coon has previously been nominated for her work in FX’s Fargo and The Gilded Age, which is currently airing its third season. Additionally, she is involved in the production of Harmonia, a thriller directed by Guy Nattiv that also stars Odessa Young, Lily James, and Bella Ramsey, who has received an Emmy nomination for their performance in The Last of Us.
