During today’s PlayStation State of Play stream, a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3 Re: Mind showed a new gameplay with Roxas and Kairi, as well as a mysterious character that we’ve only seen in snippets.
Yozora, the ominous mystery character featured in a secret movie in-game, appears at the end of the trailer and approaches Sora. Yozora is referred to as a fictional character from a game in the Toy Story world, but the secret movie from the base game showed him watching Riku quietly from a building. Yozora is from Shibuya, which could be traced back to Neku, Shiki, Beat, Rhyme, and Joshua, characters from Square Enix ‘The World Ends With You, who came in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance cameos. However, we do not know if they come from the same versions of Shibuya.
The trailer also featured more of the Final Fantasy characters in Hollow Bastion to help the gang figure out where Sora had disappeared at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3.
The DLC will be available for PlayStation 4 on January 23, 2020 and for Xbox One in February.
