Jordan.. 1800 companies left the market last year

The Comptroller General of Companies in Jordan, Wael Al-Armoouti, said 1,800 companies have exited the market and 3,000 will remain in 2022.

He said that “1085 companies have increased their capital and more than 300 million dinars have been registered as capital in 2022”, explaining that more than one billion dinars for companies registered and raised last year and more than 300 million dinars have been registered like capital.

Al-Armuti pointed out that “after the amendments to the law, the registration of companies will take place in just a few hours, as the next stage will be the completion of electronic signature transactions,” stressing that the agency has greatly simplified all procedures for registering companies.
