London: the star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s top scorer, joined the shortlist for the 2022 Best Sports Personality Award in Great Britain. Today, Tuesday, the “Ethnicity Awards” announced the list of nominees for the Best Sports Personality Award 2022 in Great Britain, which included three footballers and seven other sports professionals. The roster included Mohamed Salah, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The list also included the names of sprinters Alex Yee, sprinters Dina Asher Smith, weightlifter Carnegie Kaur Baines, Katrina Johnson Thompson, star heptathlon, Mo Farah, boxing Natasha Jonas and cyclist Nicholas Dlamini. The identity of the winner of the award will be decided on the basis of the public vote on the official website of the Foundation and the awards ceremony will be held on 27 October. (Dpa)
