Russia and Pakistan are calling for Afghan dialogue to form an inclusive government
Sergei Lavrov, the Russian foreign minister, talked on the phone with Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the foreign minister of Pakistan, about what was going on in Afghanistan and what should be done to help end the war there.
According to the site “RT,” the Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a statement that Lavrov and Qureshi’s phone call today, Saturday, was about what is been going on in Afghanistan since the Taliban took over the country.
The foreign ministry also said that the two ministers “underlined the need for assistance, especially in the context of the enlarged troika (Russia, Pakistan, China, and the US), in launching the global Afghan-Afghan dialogue with the goal of forming a representative government and ensuring stability and the rule of law in this country.”

At the same time, the website “India Today” says that the Pakistani foreign minister plans to go to Kabul, the city of Afghanistan, on Sunday.
Pakistan said again on the 9th of this month that it was worried about what was happening in Afghanistan and that they thought the process of pace Afghan was going through a key phase. Islamabad told the leaders of Afghanistan to take advantage of the chance to talk things out and come to an agreement on a political solution.
Notably, Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), said on Friday that Pakistan has a unique duty to make sure that Afghanistan lives up to its promises.
