The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed its condemnation and strong denunciation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the attack on the United Nations force “UNIFIL” in southern Lebanon, which resulted in the death of an Irish soldier and the wounding of others , calling for an immediate and transparent investigation into the circumstances of the attack.
The Foreign Ministry has expressed the Kingdom’s total rejection of any form of violence, affirming the Kingdom’s support for the “UNIFIL” mission, as well as expressing its sincere condolences and solidarity with the Irish government and people, and wishes for a prompt healing for the injured.
