West Ham jumped to fourth place by beating Norwich with a brace from Bowen

LONDON: West Ham United regained their place in the English Premier League semi-finals with a 2-0 win over the last club of Norwich City on Wednesday thanks to a brilliant brace from Jarrod Bowen. A goal from Bowen, who was named by West Ham manager David Moyes to join England, was disallowed in the first half but brought the Londoners in The lead with a 42-minute header. Norwich once again produced an attractive kick and nearly equalized in the second half with Adam Eadeh Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski prevented him from scoring with a splendid save. But Bowen secured his third straight win in championship for West Ham in the 83rd minute when he scored goalkeeper Tim Kroll after a superb cross pass from Arthur Maswako. The goal was initially canceled, but was eventually counted after a review of the VAR. West Ham overtook Arsenal to qualify for the Champions League with 37 points in 21 games.
