The film is a collaboration between Sita22 Films, founded by former corporate executive Ann Mukherjee, and Handyyman. Directed by Shieladitya Moulik, Chheledhora centers on a road trip that evolves from a personal journey into a high-stakes crisis. Swastika Mukherjee stars in the film, playing the role of Brishti, a morally complex divorced mother whose impulsive decision to take her daughter on a trip leads to an actual abduction.
According to Apple Original Films, the biopic Tenzing celebrated its premiere at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival. That film is scheduled for a limited theatrical run starting October 9, 2026, before its global streaming debut on Apple TV+ on October 16, 2026.

The production took place in the visually distinct landscapes of Itanagar and Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh.
