No Man’s Sky Update 7.06 Patch Notes Fix Radiant Pillar Duplication Bug

Hello Games released No Man’s Sky update 7.06 (version 7.006.000 on PlayStation 5) on October 5, 2026. This hotfix primarily addresses a duplication bug affecting the iconic Radiant Pillar ship and improves the camera behavior for space-walking mechanics.

The update arrives during the game’s 10th-anniversary season, which is currently hosting Expedition 23: Our Journey Continues. This follows the spectral-themed adventures of the previous major update, 5.20 (The Cursed).

Radiant Pillar Duplication Fix

The most significant fix in version 7.06 addresses a technical error linked to corvette-to-main-save transfers from expeditions. Previously, players transferring a corvette ship from an expedition save would occasionally trigger a bug that generated multiple broken copies of the Radiant Pillar starter ship.

  • The duplication glitch during corvette transfers has been resolved.
  • Affected save files will be automatically cleaned up; the patch identifies and removes the broken Radiant Pillar copies upon loading the game.

Space-Walking and Tool Adjustments

The update refines features such as the space-walking ability. Players reported issues with camera orientation while performing rolls in zero-G; this patch ensures the camera no longer incorrectly shifts its facing direction during these maneuvers.

Additionally, Hello Games has adjusted the Gravitino Coil targeting. The patch fixes an error that occurred when using the coil to collect objects from deep-space hulks, ensuring that the reticle aligns correctly with lootable items.

Stability and Performance

Update 7.06 includes several platform-specific stability improvements to prevent crashes:

  • PlayStation 5: Fixed a specific crash that occurred during loading screens.
  • PC: Resolved a stability issue affecting players using certain Nvidia GPUs.

Players can find the full list of technical refinements on the official No Man’s Sky news site. These changes are live across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and previous-generation consoles.
