Blizzard Entertainment released Diablo Immortal update v3.2.3 on October 14, 2026, for PC, iOS, and Android platforms. The update introduces a significant progression safeguard for Prime Evil Powers and restores critical re-rolling functionality for endgame gear attributes.
Prime Evil Power Progression Safeguard
The update implements a restriction on the Splinter of a Prime Evil to prevent characters from encountering progression soft-locks. Characters are now prohibited from using these items until the seasonal questline is fully completed. This change ensures that players follow the intended story triggers before engaging with high-level power mechanics.
According to the official release notes, this progression fix is not retroactive. Characters that have already reached a bugged state due to using a Splinter before the patch will not see their progression automatically restored.
Horadric Cube and Itemization Fixes
The Horadric Cube has been updated to correctly handle specific gear attributes associated with the current itemization cycle. The following affixes can now be correctly re-rolled:
- Impairment Reduction
- Barrier Generation
- +Healing
- Critical Strike Damage
Dungeon and Quest Adjustments
Several technical issues affecting dungeon completion and quest item drops have been resolved to improve gameplay flow:
- Destruction’s End: Tyrael will now correctly spawn at the end of the Baal encounter, preventing players from being stuck after the boss fight.
- The Forgotten Tower: A collision bug has been addressed where The Countess could pass through fog walls.
- Necromancer Questline: In the “Call of the Underworld” quest, monsters will now properly drop Unbroken Bones, allowing players to advance the mission.
