Riot Games officially unveiled its newest agent, Hush, during the VCT Champions 2026 Grand Finals in Shanghai on October 18. A telekinetic Duelist hailing from Guangdong, China, Hush is designed to shift the Duelist archetype away from pure entry-fragging toward a role focused on tactical disruption and remote interaction.

Hush is scheduled to arrive on live servers on October 27, 2026, launching alongside the start of Season 26, Act VI.

A Kit Defined by Telekinetic Control

Unlike existing Duelists who rely on explosive movement or self-healing, Hush utilizes a unique passive ability called Telekinesis. This allows her to interact with world objects from a distance, including picking up weapons, retrieving the Spike, or activating environmental switches without being physically present at the interaction point. This ability significantly changes how teams can recover the Spike in “dead zones” or swap weapons safely during a round.

Her active abilities further emphasize her role as a tactical disruptor:

  • Displacement (E): Her signature ability is a throwable projectile that creates a gravitational pull upon landing. It concusses any enemies caught within its collision radius, making it an effective tool for clearing corners or halting aggressive pushes.
  • Flashbulb (Q): This steerable flash grenade can be guided mid-air using the player’s crosshair. This allows Hush to “bend” flashes around complex geometry that would be inaccessible to traditional linear projectiles.
  • Flow (C): This mobility tool allows Hush to place an anchor point and dash toward it after a brief delay. If activated while in the air, it provides a short levitation effect, granting her verticality and unpredictable movement during engagements.
  • Suspension (X): Her ultimate ability creates a massive area of effect that lifts caught enemies off the ground. While levitated, enemies become vulnerable targets, though the mechanics of their ability to return fire while suspended remain a key point of interest for competitive players.

Lore and Visual Design

Hush’s design merges tactical streetwear with distinct aesthetic choices, including a “hime” haircut, pale lilac hair, and magenta eyes.

The character marks a significant milestone for the game’s roster as the third Chinese agent, joining Sage and Iso. While she is the 30th playable agent added to the game, she is officially designated as Agent 31 within the game’s lore, leaving the “Agent 8” slot as a persistent mystery in the Valorant protocol.

The reveal took place just before the championship conclusion between LOUD and Team Vitality, cementing Hush as a central figure in the upcoming meta for the 2027 competitive season. Players can expect her to challenge the dominance of movement-based Duelists like Jett and Neon by introducing more utility-heavy playstyles to the front lines.
