Fans of Zendaya’s street-style-meets-superhero aesthetic can now purchase an officially licensed version of the “Spider-Man” T-shirt that dominated fashion headlines earlier this summer. Marvel has released the recreation on Amazon for $19.99, following a massive surge in interest after the actress wore a vintage version of the shirt in June.

The release, titled the “Marvel Spider-Man Vintage Paris Premiere Fan Event T-Shirt,” is part of Amazon’s Merch on Demand program. The design is an official recreation of the 2007 Mad Engine shirt that Zendaya wore during a Paris photocall for Spider-Man: Brand New Day on June 24, 2026.

From eBay Find to Viral Fashion Statement

The original shirt’s journey to viral status began when stylist Law Roach sourced a 2007 vintage piece from eBay for just $34.99. Zendaya paired the oversized tee with white Christian Louboutin pumps and a Rolex watch, creating a high-low fashion moment that immediately resonated with fans.

The official recreation is now available through online retail channels for $19.99.

The appearance triggered what fashion analysts call the “Zendaya Effect.” Almost immediately after the Paris event, the secondary market for the original 2007 Mad Engine design saw a dramatic price spike. While many unofficial “bootleg” versions appeared on platforms like Etsy, the price for authentic vintage shirts reached as high as $200 on eBay.

Merchandise for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”

This official $19.99 Amazon release provides a mass-market alternative to the inflated resale market. It arrives as part of a wider promotional cycle for Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The shirt release coincides with other major marketing collaborations for the film, including partnerships with Adidas and Citizen. While the original shirt was a thrifted treasure, the new version allows fans to replicate the look without navigating the volatile vintage market. The recreation maintains the same graphic elements that made the 2007 original a standout, serving as the first officially licensed version of the design since Zendaya’s appearance.
