The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says that four children were killed yesterday morning on their way to school after regime forces bombed a city in northwest Syria.
The Observatory also said that regime forces used a missile to attack Maarat al-Naasan, which is in the northern countryside of Idlib. The attack killed at least four boys who were going to school, which is on the eastern edge of the city.
An AFP reporter in a city saw three bodies being put in black plastic bags in a pickup truck and then buried in a city cemetery. The fourth boy, who later died from his injuries, was buried in a different cemetery.
That is, it was not clear why the city was bombed, according to the Observatory, which is in front of the regime’s forces and is run by fighting groups like Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra). It also includes the edges of the Turkish troops’ observation point.
