Al-Ittihad Makes Difficult Decision Amidst Registration Crisis

Introduction

Press reports revealed, on Friday morning, that the club’s board of directors had reached a conclusion regarding the problem of registering foreign players. The federation’s administration, headed by Anmar Al-Haili, reached a final solution, which was to abandon the foreign star, “Jota,” due to the number of foreign players exceeding the permissible limit.

The same reports added that the Jeddah Federation intends to get rid of its Portuguese player Joao Felipe “Jota” on loan, in order to register Italian defender Luis Felipe. Sports analysts indicate that this solution is the most appropriate at the present time.
