As a consequence of the Beeper Mini scandal, Apple finally decided to revoke the company’s pledge to provide iMessage for Android, and as a result, the application is no longer accessible through the Play Store. Beeper, on the other hand, is not finished with the app.
A crazy reverse-engineered technique of accessing iMessage over Android phones was used in the introduction of Beeper Mini in December. This approach did not require users to check in and instead made use of the phone number that was registered on their Android device. Eric Migicovsky, who works for Beeper, provided users with an update on the company’s future plans in the same release. Included in this is the fact that the firm is now working on a “big performance boost” for its desktop client, in addition to working on porting its other chat app services from Cloud to Mini.
