The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum Announces BP’s Plans for Natural Gas Exploration
The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum released a statement on Tuesday revealing BP’s intentions to embark on a significant project in the country. According to the statement, BP plans to drill four new exploration wells for natural gas in Egypt during the final quarter of 2023.
The statement further stated that BP, along with its partners, is prepared to invest a total of approximately 3.5 billion dollars into Egypt’s natural gas exploration and development sector over the course of the next three years. This investment is expected to increase exponentially if the company manages to uncover new discoveries.
