Construction Simulator Update 1.29

A new update for Construction Simulator, known as Update 1.29, has recently been released. This update is accessible across all gaming platforms, as well as on PC. Players can now download this update, which introduces bug fixes, improvement updates, and patch notes for the game. It is worth noting that the file size of this update may differ depending on the gaming platform being used.

New Feature: Crossplay Multiplayer

  • The update has added crossplay functionality, allowing players to join multiplayer sessions from any platform, whether playing on PC via Steam, the Microsoft Store, PlayStation, or Xbox. Crossplay is enabled by default for all platforms, but players have the option to disable it in the settings under ONLINE. When creating a multiplayer game, crossplay can be enabled or disabled for that specific session.

New Feature: Voice Chat

  • Voice chat has been introduced for all platforms, with settings accessible under AUDIO > VOICE CHAT within the game. Players can enable or disable voice chat, adjust audio output and input devices, set voice chat volume, activate push-to-talk, and assign a button for push-to-talk under CONTROLS > HUD/MENU. Some known issues still exist with this feature, such as voice chat quality being frame rate dependent and potential sound issues on last-gen devices.

New Feature: Emotes

  • Player emotes have been added, allowing characters in the game to perform various actions. Emotes can be accessed through the context menu under a new sub-category called EMOTES and assigned to specific shortcuts under CONTROLS > CHARACTER. Some emotes are one-shot animations, while others require a movement input to return the character to their normal position.

Mobile Excavator Improvements

  • Wheeled hydraulic excavators can now switch between driving and function mode without resetting the body, boom, and bucket. This improvement enables the use of wheeled hydraulic excavators for tasks such as driving with a shovel full of bulk, transporting cargo, or pouring concrete while driving. Players can also rotate the body 180° to enable rear wheel steering.

Multiple Vehicle Fixes & Improvements

  • The update includes final adjustments to the amount of bulk material excavators and dumpers can hold, as well as various fixes and improvements to multiple vehicles in the game.

General Game Improvements

  • The update introduces graphical fixes and improvements, as well as a multitude of general bug fixes and improvements to enhance the overall gameplay experience.
