Yesterday, Bollywood fans were treated with two different movies – Pati Patni Aur Woh and Panipat. Although both films belong to completely different genres, they promise to please a wide audience. While Pati Patni Aur Woh stars Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead, the Panipat war drama features Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in key roles.
Speaking of the box office’s film collections, a report in a news portal said Panipat had failed to attract the public on the opening day because he had been able to collect 3.5 to 4 crores of rupees. Pati Patni Aur Woh, on the other hand, managed to do much better and continued to collect Rs 8.5-9 crore. Panipat saw an average occupancy rate of 8 to 10 while the love drama managed to achieve an occupancy rate of 20 to 25%.
