What’s the Plot of The Ghostbusters Afterlife 2?
We only know a little about the plot of Ghostbusters: Firehouse; besides, it’s a direct sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The working title and a scene from the third film suggest that the main characters will return to the firehouse that was the base of operations for the original team. Director Jason Reitman has hinted that we might see other characters from previous Ghostbusters movies, like Vigo the Carpathian, the main villain from Ghostbusters II, played by Wilhelm von Homburg.

James Reitman took over the directing duties previously held by his father, Ivan Reitman, for the production of Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Instead, Gil Kenan, a director who previously helmed Monster House and has extensive experience in the genre of children battling monsters, will be taking over the role.
