Gold prices rose after the release of the minutes of the meeting of the US Federal Reserve

Gold prices rose this morning, Thursday, after the publication of the minutes of the last meeting of the US Federal Reserve (central bank).

And by 07:39 Moscow time, December futures contracts for gold on the New York Stock Exchange rose by $10.35, or 0.59%, to $1,755.95 an ounce.

December silver futures rose 1.19% to $21.622 an ounce, according to trading data.

The minutes of the Fed meeting, published on Wednesday evening, showed that the regulator considers it expedient to slow down the pace of interest rate hikes in the near future.
