Imaginary Updates: It’s Robert Woods playing Monday night

Robert Woods was surprisingly inactive last week for personal reasons and with the Rams playing the Ravens in Monday night football, the latest reports come from Sean McVay on Saturday saying he would not be fully committed to playing for Woods. The fact that Woods is not in doubt about the official injury report should be taken as a good sign, but until he gets active / inactive, it’s hard to know for sure whether LA will have the highest receiver or Josh. Reynolds push to more duty.

The official active / inactive report drops at approximately 6:50 pm ET, and we’ll have updates here on Twitter @SN_Fantasy.

Does Robert Woods play Monday night?

Although McVay would not commit to playing Woods, he described the wide range as “good looking”. Woods had returned from his personal matter on Thursday and continued to practice with the Rams, which sounds like enough time to get ready for Monday night.

If you’ve kept this long Woods, you definitely play him if he’s active. If Woods were out of action, Josh Reynolds would take on the Rams’ No. 3 WR behind Cooper Kupp and Brandin Cooks. Reynolds will be available at most leagues to pick up if he needs a last-minute replacement for Woods.

Reynolds can be in the deeper leagues and if Woods is out and about, your best bet is Ravens WR Willie Snead (or if for your FLEX spot, you could try Baltimore TE Nick Boyle). It would be really a surprise again, though, if Woods had to be kept out after participating in a couple of days of practice.
