It has been confirmed that the fourth season of Jack Ryan, which is based on the books by Tom Clancy, will be released on Amazon Prime around the Fourth of July this year. After waiting almost a year and a half for each of the last two seasons, the wait for this season will be much shorter, and that’s not the only thing that will be different about how the show comes out.

Jack Ryan Season 4 Released Date?
The first three seasons of Jack Ryan came out all at once, so you could watch them all in one sitting. The next four seasons, on the other hand, will come out in waves on Amazon Prime. The first two episodes will be released on June 30, two more on July 7, and the last two on July 14. This will add up to six episodes, two less than the eight episodes in season three.
All of these facts and a few very short scenes were shown in a sneak peek by Amazon Prime Video, which you can see by clicking the link below. Even though that short look at the show was released, there is still no trailer for the fourth season. At the time this was written, Season 4 wasn’t coming out for another month and a half. If a trailer comes out, we’ll post it here so everyone can watch it.

Jack Ryan Season 4 Plot?
Jack Ryan Season 3 saw the former marine on the run across Europe trying to prevent world war three. While this did lead to a massive manhunt trying to prove that Ryan was a traitor, all ended well for him, and evidently, he even managed to snag a promotion out of the jaws of defeat.
The official synopsis says this moving forward:
“The fourth and final season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan finds the titular character on his most dangerous mission yet: facing an enemy both foreign and domestic. As the new CIA Acting Deputy Director, Jack Ryan is tasked with unearthing internal corruption, and in doing so, uncovers a series of suspicious black ops that could expose the vulnerability of the country. As Jack and the team investigate how deep the corruption runs, he discovers a far-worse reality — the convergence of a drug cartel with a terrorist organization — ultimately revealing a conspiracy much closer to home and testing our hero’s belief in the system he has always fought to protect.”
If you’re looking for a link to one of your favorite Jack Ryan books, you may remember that all previous seasons stuck very closely to the canon, and this season is the same. We know that Michael Pea will play Domingo “Ding” Chavez in Season 4 of Jack Ryan. Chavez is a character from Tom Clancy’s universe who appears in the Rainbow Six series, and this could be a sign of things to come.
Back in Season 4 of Jack Ryan, Showrunner Vaun Wilmott said:
“Without giving you any spoilers, he takes a different role in season 4 that we haven’t seen before, [one] that allows us to explore another aspect of Jack Ryan. Season 4 is another exciting ride – very international, with different characters, new villains, and it allows us to play with Jack, Greer, Mike, and everybody in it, in new exciting way.”
Ryan will be tested in many ways during this fourth season, and with the possibility of more love at home, it seems like the stakes are higher than ever.
