Kim Kardashian and Kanye West divorced; she’ll receive $200K in child support

Kanye West and Kim also agreed to split “all assets and liabilities” from their six-year marriage. Together, the former couple has four kids.

Fox News Digital can confirm that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West agreed to their divorce on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Documents from the court say that the reality star’s ex-husband will pay $200,000 per month in child support for their four children.

The ex-couple agreed to share custody, and West will pay the monthly support fees starting on December 1.

Kardashian and West, who now goes by the name Ye, had a prenuptial agreement that said they would “divide all assets and liabilities” from their six-year marriage.

On February 19, 2021, Kardashian filed a court order to end her marriage. After six years of marriage, Kardashian and Ye split up on December 26, 2020.

“Starting on December 1, 2022, Respondent (West) will pay Petitioner (Kardashian) $200,000 per month as child support. On the first of every month, the child support will be sent by wire transfer to an account that Petitioner will choose, “the files said.

Kardashian and West will pay for their children’s “health care, medical, and dental expenses, ” which aren’t covered by insurance. Kim will keep and pay for the kids’ insurance as long as it’s available or “until each child turns 26” (without any help from Respondent).

The ex-couple will share the costs of sending North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm to private schools. They will also share the costs of hiring private security for the kids.

Kardashian and West will also split the college costs for their four children, who are between 3 and 9 years old.

“The Parties agree that they did not buy any joint assets during their marriage and that as of the date of their divorce and the date of this Stipulated Judgment, they did not own any joint assets,” their agreement said.

According to the agreement, if Kardashian and West can’t agree on “major decisions relating to the Minor Children’s health, education, and welfare,” they will go to mediation for “at least three hours with a mutually agreed upon retired judicial officer based in Southern California.” They will make a “good faith effort” to settle any outstanding disagreements at that time.

Mediation must happen within 14 days of a written request from either party. If they can’t settle their differences, they may be able to “petition the Court for relief as to those then unresolved disputes.” But if one party doesn’t show up to mediation, the other party will have “sole power to decide about the item(s) then in dispute.”

Since filing for divorce, West has fired two lawyers and raised a number of technical issues and demands. He also asked to be able to question Kardashian’s new husband under oath, which Judge Steve Cochran quickly denied. A number of companies cut ties with West after he made offensive and anti-Semitic comments.

In 2012, West and Kardashian started dating, and in 2013, they had their first child. West asked her to marry him later that year using the big screen at the empty San Francisco Giants waterfront ballpark. They got married on May 24, 2014, at a Renaissance fortress in Florence, Italy.
