Oil prices continue to decline and approach a minimum in about two months

Oil prices fell today, Monday, and approached their lowest level in about two months, and this is due to fears of a decrease in oil demand due to an increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection in China.

And by 09:31 Moscow time, futures for American oil fell by 0.72% to $79.50 per barrel, and futures for Brent crude oil fell by 0.65% to $87.05 per barrel.

Oil contracts closed last week with notable losses as Brent fell 2.4% last Friday to close at $87.62 a barrel, while U.S. crude shed 1.9% to $80.08 per barrel.
