Pati Patni Aur Woh
Love triangles are very popular in Hindi cinema. Many classic hits such as Silsila, Kuch Kuch, Hota Hai, Dil Toh Pagaal Hai and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam are based on the concept of love triangles. The names of Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar, Patni Aur Woh Pati, are also on the list. The film is a remake of B.R Chopra’s film with the same name. In the film, Kartik and Bhumi play the roles of husband and wife. Their marriage seems to run smoothly until a “woh” disrupts the equation. The director Muddassar Aziz says that if they have integrated the theme of the original, the script contains new elements that correspond to the time.
Panipat
Ashutosh Gowariker is known for his large scale, stunning graphics and epic stories. And with Panipat, it looks like he will bring back more of the same thing. The film is based on the third battle of Panipat and stars Arjun Kapoor in Shadashivrao Bhau, Kriti Sanon in Parvati Bai and Sanjay Dutt in Ahmad Shah Abdali. Through this film, Ashutosh Gowariker gives us a glimpse of the politics and strategies used by the empires during the battle. There is a lot to expect in this film since it is the first time that Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon will be paired on the screen. Watching Arjun and Sanjay fight each other promises to be exciting.
