The Stranger Things 5 Release Date?
Since the show’s writers just started writing, there has yet to be a set date for the start of season 5. Between seasons 3 and 4, there was a three-year gap. However, the pandemic caused schedule and production delays. Most likely, Stranger Things 5 won’t come out until 2023 or 2024. We hope we won’t have to wait that long.
Finn Wolfhard told GQ in February 2023 that the fifth and final season of the popular sci-fi show won’t be on Netflix until 2025. “I can’t believe it’s already season 5! Finn was born in December 2002, so he is 20 and won’t be 21 until 2024. Finn’s statement also says that this could mean that Stranger Things 5 could come out at the end of 2025.

In September 2022, executive producer Shawn Levy told E! News that Stranger Things 5 “will be more Hawkins-centric.”
Levy said, “Our goals are still pretty high, and given how the audience has grown along with the show’s cinematic scope, I don’t think we’ll change that going into season five.”
In a June 2022 interview with TVLine, the Duffer Brothers hinted at a major plot point. They revealed that the students at Hawkins High will be slightly older. Ross expressed confidence that a time jump would occur.

It is uncertain if Sadie’s short hair will be significant in the upcoming Stranger Things season. However, some speculate that it could be a way to make her character, Max, appear older with the time jump. As usual with Stranger Things, certain characters can meet their end. Fans on Reddit are convinced that Max and Steve may not make it through the fifth and final season. One fan suggests that Steve has become a maternal figure to the group and may sacrifice himself for the greater good.
Meanwhile, other fans theorize that Max will forgive herself for her brother’s death but may still fall victim to Vecna in a coma. It is currently unclear when the Hawkins crew will reunite on Netflix due to the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike, which began on May 1, 2023.
