As Marvel Studios shifts its multiversal focus toward the arrival of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, one of the franchise’s most strategically placed characters is currently waiting in the wings. Wunmi Mosaku, who portrays the high-ranking Time Variance Authority (TVA) official Hunter B-15, has confirmed she has not yet been contacted regarding a role in Avengers: Doomsday.
Speaking with SFX Magazine, Mosaku revealed that she has not seen a script or received a call for the upcoming ensemble film. Despite the lack of an official invitation so far, the actress expressed clear enthusiasm for the character, stating she “loves” the world of the MCU and the role she has inhabited since the first season of Loki.

The TVA’s Rising Strategic Importance
Mosaku’s absence from the current casting sheet for Avengers: Doomsday comes as a surprise to some fans, given her character’s significant trajectory. By the conclusion of Loki Season 2, Hunter B-15 had ascended to a primary leadership position within a reformed TVA, moving the organization away from its history of timeline pruning and toward a more protective mission.
This new directive was further cemented in Deadpool & Wolverine. The film featured a cameo from B-15, where she was seen overseeing the agency’s operations and ensuring the stability of various realities. Given that the TVA is specifically designed to monitor multiversal threats, the organization would logically be on the front lines of any conflict involving a figure as dangerous as Doctor Doom.
The Production Timeline for Doomsday
While Mosaku has yet to receive word, the production schedule for the next Avengers installment leaves room for future casting updates. During the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con Hall H panel, Marvel Studios confirmed that Avengers: Doomsday is slated for a May 2026 release. With the film still in the pre-production and scripting phases, it is common for supporting cast members to be finalized closer to the start of principal photography.
The transition from the Kang the Conqueror storyline to Doctor Doom has adjusted the narrative landscape of the Multiverse Saga. However, the infrastructure of the multiverse—most notably the TVA—remains a central component of the current phase. Whether the agency takes a “hands-off” approach as suggested in recent appearances or is forced to intervene against Doom remains a key point of speculation for the 2026 blockbuster.
For now, Mosaku remains focused on the character’s growth, even if her next appearance remains unconfirmed. Her portrayal has turned B-15 from a rigid hunter into the empathetic face of the multiverse’s governing body, making her a natural bridge between the television series and the wider cinematic events to come.
