Best Fantastic Week Week 14 Receipts: Rahee Moster, Derry Gick continue breakouts

Late RB breakouts continue. Unexpectedly, Derrius Guice and Benny Snell Jr. still hold less than 50 percent of Yahoo’s championships, which means that not many fantasy football owners are taking advantage of their foreseeable big days. We are at the point of the year where you do not have to give up your resignation rights if there is someone you need. This week, it’s hard to count on any of the aforementioned RBs to move forward (with the exception of Guice), but we can’t say for sure. You could also stack potential key holders if you can, if for no other reason than to keep them out of your opponents’ lists. There will be more injuries and outbreaks in the coming weeks, but this is only important if you win Week 14.

Top Fantasy Cable Receipts for Week 14

Unless otherwise stated, only players with less than 50% of Yahoo’s championships are considered.

Raheem Mostert, RB, 49ers. It was reported that Matt Breida (ankle) was due to return for Week 13, but after a surprise Sunday morning, he opened the door for Mostert to have some meaning again. But no one expected this interest. Mostert ran 19 times for 146 yards and a score, blowing away Tevin Coleman in all categories (five carries, six yards). It was very strange, as Mostert was mainly used only for cleaning up last week. The 49ers RB situation was difficult to predict all season, so we can’t just say that Mostert is going to be a starter going forward. Brinda may be back next week, and Coleman will always be around. Still, Mostert is worth adding, even with a relatively tough fantasy playoff schedule (Saints, Falcons, Rams).

Derrius Guice, RB, Redskins. Guice should not be available in 51% of Yahoo’s championships, but here we are – and here it is, still available in 51% of Yahoo’s championships. He received three fewer loads than Adrian Peterson (13), but Guice gained 129 yards and scored twice in his 10 walks in Week 13 against the Panthers. The matchup certainly helped, but the skill and talent of Guice’s big game was in full swing. It will have a favorable Week 14 (Packers) and Week 16 (Giants) sandwiches around an unfavorable Week 15 (Eagles). Either way, it is worth the high priority discharge claim.

Patrick Laird, RB, Dolphins. Laird drove the dolphins in after Kalen Ballage came out early due to a leg injury. The freshman didn’t return too much on the ground (10 carries, four yards), but threw in a touchdown and caught four of five goals for 47 yards (plus a two-point conversion). Known for his ability to get into college, Laird will really make his mark in PPR championships. It is worth adding to both the PPR championships and the regular championships, while fellow RB Myles Gaskin also plays in the regular championships. The Dolphins have an extremely favorable fantasy playoff game (Jets, Giants, Bengals), so those who work as head backs will have some value.

Benny Snell Jr., RB, Steelers. For some reason, Snell owns just 34 percent of Yahoo’s competitions, though it clearly works as the Steelers lead last week. With James Conner’s timetable unclear for a comeback from a sore shoulder, Snell could continue to drive the road to the Pittsburgh River for at least another week. He once again showed what he can do with the job, rushing for 63 yards and a score of 16 against the Browns in Week 13. With a fairly favorable schedule the rest of the way (Cardinals, Bills, Jets), Snell will be worth it. as long as Conner is out, making him a worthy free agent adding, if not a low priority requirement.

James Washington, WR, Steelers. Washington continued its recent recession on Week 13, attracting all four targets for 113 yards and a score. The catch touch was a little unstable, but it’s clear that Washington is Pittsburgh’s second receiver while JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) is out. What is clear is when JuJu will return to shoot Washington against the Cardinals next week and the Jets in Week 16, though Week 15 against the bills should be avoided.
