“Brad Pitt Speaks Out After Being Snubbed by Shania Twain in Favor of Ryan Reynolds”

Brad Pitt has broken his silence on Shania Twain’s decision to replace him in her hit song “That Don’t Impress Me Much” at the People’s Choice Awards in December. At the awards show, Twain replaced Pitt’s name with fellow Canadian Ryan Reynolds, 46, who was later honored with the Icon Award. Pitt joked that Reynolds “deserved” the recognition, saying “I think we can share the wealth. Ryan’s a good egg. He deserves some love.”

Twain had written the song in the midst of Pitt’s scandal with Playgirl magazine, which had published unearthed nude photos of him and his then-fiancée Gwyneth Paltrow. She explained that she didn’t understand the fuss and wrote the line as a result. After the awards show, Reynolds expressed his admiration for Twain and his surprise at being mentioned in her song.

Pitt has made it clear that there is no bad blood between him and Reynolds, and that he’s not upset by being replaced in the song. He even suggested that Twain should pass the roast on to other celebrities, such as Austin Butler and Leonardo DiCaprio. Pitt’s lighthearted attitude towards the situation has endeared him to fans, who are pleased to see that he is not taking the matter too seriously.
